The dome shaped foot mounts to the jigsaw's base plate, and allows you to bevel, turn, and pitch the blade to any angle as you cut. No matter which way the saw is turned the blade is supported right at the kerf. You can freely cut & back bevel on the go. Compact enough to cut into some extremely close quarters.
